Organizational Capacity Building
Due to the substantial roles played by organizations in societal development, especially in developing countries, there is a need to continuously enhance their potential to be productive and effective. This includes the need to boost sustainability, enhance governance, support collaboration, and strengthen infrastructure for improving the skills, resources, and abilities that enable the organization and staff to grow and flourish.
Spantrack supports its clients to undertake Organizational Analysis and to evaluate organizational structures including networks and partnerships towards improving the organizational, institutional, and human capacity. We assist clients to identify needed changes or improvements, inform an organizational change or strategic planning initiative; and satisfy accountability and/or risk management requirements of stakeholders. We analyze conditions and propose solutions that our clients can implement within their own environment and assist them in improving performance in a manner that aligns with their vision, culture, and organizational structure. We design and implement comprehensive capacity development interventions that focus on enhancing learning and adaptation. The services we offer include:
- Supporting organizational capacity assessment and action planning including development of strategic plans
- Supporting design of problem-based and adaptive approaches to planning and change management
- Supporting design of learning-based approaches to program development and implementation, including theory of change, results-based management, adaptive approaches to planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning; developmental evaluation and other tools and designs for learning.
- Supporting implementation capacity building strategies
- Supporting integration of human rights, gender and equity perspectives into capacity development approaches and methodologies.
